Adaptive Leadership: Serving Others to Shift Paradigms

2022 podcasts Oct 03, 2022

Mark Ashby is a highly-regarded specialist who helps multinational companies and their leaders in crisis awareness, cultural change & high-performance leadership. He possesses an extraordinary ability to perform optimally under stressful scenarios through extensive experiences as a member of the Elite Paratroopers and other Specialist roles in the Australian Army, with Operational tours of East Timor.

Mark was deployed to Iraq as a team leader in the highly-dangerous private security sector for eleven years in Iraq, before returning to Australia to work as a senior risk consultant in the corporate world for six years. Mark’s duties took him to high-threat, hostile situations daily, where he faced immense pressure to perform tasks in both covert and overt capacities with great emotional control, discipline, and accuracy.

In episode 33 of the Dominate Your Day Podcast, Mark Ashby discusses his experiences of using adaptive leadership skills in serving teams, creating cultural changes, and shifting paradigms. As Mark says “What’s the worst that can happen, we fail, we get up the next day and do it again”- a 360 lens view of how Mark sees leadership and teamwork. In this episode, youll learn…
