Yadira Ychel Caro, or Yadi, is a former journalist turned tech consultant for various U.S. military organizations. For over 15 years, Yadi has worked with software developers, engineers and users to solve problems and design solutions. Based on her experience in tech, she realized many great IT initiatives and teams failed due to lack of focus on communication, conflict resolution, and other "soft" skills. Therefore, she launched the Hardcore Soft Skills podcast where she talks with renowned experts to provide actionable advice on how to improve and adopt essential skills.

On episode 31 of the Dominate Your Day Podcast, Yadi Caro discusses her transitory career from journalism to tech and her inspirations and skills to redefine productivity and ADHD. In this episode, you’ll learn…

  • Rethinking productivity and “soft skills” to accommodate ADHD.
  • Creating a culture of conscious communications change corporate meeting strategies.
  • How the basis of feedback culture in a scrum setting can influence establishing a rhythm of communication in other settings
  • How adaptability aids future leaders
