To celebrate Women's History Month in March, we're highlighting women who are making a powerful impact in their community.

In this episode, Lia Garvin, a team operations and management consultant known as the “Team Whisperer,” shares practical insights on managing teams, building personal brands, and delegating effectively.

Lia offers several practical tips for leaders, like emphasizing the importance of taking control over your calendar and minimizing constant context switching.  She advises against undermining your own authority with your team, even if you are new to the role and still learning the ropes. Instead, she recommends presenting confidence and framing your role in a way that empowers your team.

She also emphasizes the importance of not going it alone as a leader. She urges managers to seek support through mentorship, coaching, or peer groups, as isolation can lead to burnout and slow down progress.
